Chia Seeds

Legend has it that the ancient Aztecs and Mayans used chia seeds as a source of energy. Despite their small size, chia seeds contain an astonishing amount of essential nutrients, are potential sources of antioxidants and are rich in dietary fibre.

Chia seeds are healthy and versatile, naturally gluten free, and they make a great addition to any vegan or raw food diet. They can be worked flawlessly into any meal, snacks, drinks, and even into your baking. Our favourite way is adding a teaspoon of chia seeds into flavoured water or juice and allow it to rest for 15 minutes; then a natural, nutritious, refreshing treat is ready for your indulgence.
